Mercedes-Benz Looks To Reign As Top Luxury Brand

 

BERLIN - Daimler AG's Mercedes-Benz, once discounted as a stuffy brand for old men, is ready to recover the top spot among premium auto brands for the year following 10 years of trailing opponents BMW AG and Audi AG.

Through the initial three months this year, Daimler's endeavors have paid off all around. Mercedes-Benz surpassed BMW to offer 483,487 autos under its own particular nameplate so far this year, with deals rising almost 13%, double the development rate of its opponent. That puts Mercedes-Benz in shaft position as the race for the 2016 extravagance brand deals crown proceeds.
